Day 20

States: Utah
Total Miles: Somewhere in the 6000's
Time Zones: 1, 4 total

Well, I'm finally back to updating. Except for the last-leg drive from Sacramento to Graeagle, my long journey across the US is over. My appologies if my tenses are out of place in the next 14 days worth of updates.

My sister, father and I went biking. Moab is like a biking mecca. People come from all over the world to bike on the famous Moab slickrock. Slickrock is basically sandstone which, when wet, becomes quite slick. Lucky for us (sarcasm) the sun was blazing and we needed not worry about any slick rock. We took two rides, one to a overlook of Klondike Bluffs in Arches NP and the other a short loop of the Monitor & Merrimac (sp?) trail. Simply put, I got beat up big time. I was so dehydrated after this adventure, it took me 2 days to recover. My trip is just about over, and I'm still peeling on my arms from the biking sunburn I got. I did have fun though, I swear.

Looking out across the desert to where the Klondike Bluffs overlook is. Boy it's pretty far out there...
