11/02 - The Gold Lake Hwy opened up the day before so I headed over to Sardine Lake and the Sierra Buttes to see how things looked with the snow. I wasn't disappointed though there was actually less snow there than I had thought. In the top picture you can see some green (manzanita and other low bushes) on the hillside that gets the most sun.
