10/24 - The previous day it was raining down in town, so I drove up to this area to see if it was snowing. It was coming down pretty good so I hiked about 3/4 of a mile to Long Lake. There was maybe 8 inches of snow which eventually became over a foot for the pictures below. Long Lake was pretty interesting with snow coming down pretty hard and the wind whipping across the lake. Sadly I didn't have a camera. So I came back up today and snapped a couple shots. No wind, no falling snow, no people, not a single sound.
